Saclà was born in 1939 when Secondo Ercole and his wife Piera had the idea of preserving seasonal vegetables from the Tanaro valley to make them ready for use all year round. Thus was born the Saclà, and today it is an internationally appreciated company that exports the excellence of our land to over sixty countries around the world combined with the creativity of our cuisine, keeping the spirit of the founders alive. A story, that of Saclà, which after the war follows and accompanies that of the country. These are the years of the economic boom when Saclà pits the table olives and encapsulates the pickles in jars with the revolutionary twist off cap, a novelty brought to Italy from America by Lorenzo Ercole, today President of the company and Cavaliere del Lavoro.
